Full caption reads:Ned Beatty debuts in Warner Bros.' "Deliverance," starring Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds. As co-star in the film produced and directed by John Boorman, Beatty plays an Atlanta businessman who takes part in the murder of two mountaineers. He's shown in a scene with Burt Reynolds where they are nearly drowned in a canoeing accident. Poet James Dickey wrote the screenplay based on his best-selling novel.
