Two white policemen detaining an African American man outside Lincoln High School. The officer to the left of the detainee in the photo is using both hands to restrain one of his arms. The officer to the right of the detainee has one hand on his arm, while his other hand is holding a rifle. Behind them stands a young African American boy watching the scene, along with other police officers.
