Candis Blythe Culbertson (20) wears a white, v-neck, one-piece swimsuit of which the weaving of the cloth creates a raised diamond pattern over a solid white cloth that creates a body length diamond underneath and white pumps during the Miss America Preliminary Contest, for Miss Raytown 1973 held at Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri. She wears a blue and white contestant number ribbon attached to her swimsuit on her left hip.
