Carla Jill Cathlina (21) holds a microphone to her chin in her left hand and her mouth wide open as she is possibly singing. She wears a light blue mini-dress with long-puffed-translucent sleeves, and a turtleneck collar. There is a band of lace around her waist and cuffs and a ruffle around the cuffs, the collar, and the bottom of the dress during the Miss America Preliminary Contest, for Miss Raytown 1973 held at Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri.
