The starting point of the World Championship Dogsled Race in Anchorage, Alaska shows one person minding each pair of dogs along the mushing line in the middle of the snowy street as the musher gets set up and ready to join the race. Several pickup trucks with dog boxes attached in the truck beds are parked all around the dogs and mushers. The business signs beside the street are Soapy Smiths Quality Alaskan Gifts and La Coiffure Beauty Salon.
