"Mrs. Paradoski, a 53-year-old housewife, won a one-week cruise for two aboard the Paquet Lines' S.S. Rhapsody (Bahama Registry). Travel arrangements are being handled by Blitz World Wide Travel Service of St. Louis...Mrs. Paradoski won the cruise by coming closest to predicting the time of the area's first official snowfall. She predicted that the first half-inch snowfall, as recorded by the National Weather Service, would be at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. She was off by only five minutes as the first half-inch of snow was recorded at 1:35 a.m. that day at Lambert St. Louis International Airport."
