1460
Letter executing the nobility and waiver lawsuit between Alfonso de Torres against the residents of Villar de Domingo García in Cuenca, given in the reign of Henry IV. Handwritten in parchment in Gothic letter of forty-four lines containing the executory letter on nobility and exemption of taxes (tributes) filed between Alfonso de Torres against the residents of Villar de Domingo García in Cuenca in the year 1460. The petitioner alleges the nobility of grandparents and parents who fought in different campaigns with the kings of Castile, while the residents claim their contribution to a royal request. Both parties are recognized for their rights and obligations in a sentence endorsed by King Henry IV.
The executions of nobility of this period are very rare and there are very few preserved from the reign of D. Enrique. It does not retain the pending lead seal although it does part of the wires. Rarity, of the oldest in Spain.
