The Sheet Music Collection consists of tens of thousands of commercially published titles broken down into six imprint types. An abbreviation with the suffix "NS" indicates the title is not scanned.

2. Kansas City Imprints (kcs/kcsNS)
Hundreds of titles published in Kansas City, 1870s-1960s

3. Missouri and Kansas Imprints (mki/mkiNS)

4. World War I Imprints (ww1/ww1NS)
Hundreds of titles related to WWI, published primarily from 1914 to 1919

5. World War II Imprints (ww2/ww2NS)
Hundreds of titles related to WWII, published primarily from 1939 to 1945

6. Classical and Sacred Imprints (cscNS - all titles not scanned)
