Description: The Belle Creole was built in 1823 at Cincinnati, Ohio. Her home port was New Orleans and she was a New Orleans-Bends packet. Captain Champremere was her master. She foundered and sank in 1829. This photograph was reproduced from an old sketch made at New Orleans, Louisiana.
