The Resolute was a old Pittsburgh towboat owned by the Juttes along with the Joseph B. Williams, Tom Dodsworth, Samual Clark, Valiant, Charlie Jutte, Rescue, W. C. Jutte, Defender and others. She was built in 1872 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her dimensions were:- 174 x 33 x 6.0 feet; tonnage, 426. While lying at the wharf, Portland, Ohio in 1872, she exploded her boilers; loss of property, $1500.
