Description: The Samuel Clarke was built at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1870. Her dimensions were:- 175 x 33 x 6 feet. She was owned by the Juttes of which line Charles Jutte was the owner and operator. He was known as one of the Pittsburgh coal barons. Old timers say this boat had the best lines of any wooden towboat that ever ran out of Pittsburgh.
