Description: Leading architects nominated 10 buildings considered best achievements of art. These included: Gateway Arch, Eads Bridge, the Wainwright Building, the Climatron, Union Station, Old Post office, Old Courthouse and Equitable Building. The Equitable building was the only one constructed in the 1970s. It was designed by Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum.
