"Perspective from St. Louis Architectural Firm of Froese, Maack and Becker, shows Concordia Publishing House's new expanded quarters with the extension of the present fourth-floor offices east over the entire 1951 building. The expansion, together with the new five-story brick structure, will be erected at the corner of Miami and Indiana avenues on the site of Concordia's old four-story building. All the factory and office areas will be air-conditioned except the warehouse and storage in the basement. Completion of the $2,000,000 expansion and modernization is scheduled for the spring of 1964. The Woermann Construction company has the general contract with Sodemann Heat and Power Company to install the heating and air-conditioning systems."
