"Construction has started on a new 10,000 square foot office building on a one-acre site at 5620 West Park ave., for Continental Boiler and Sheet Iron Works, according to an announcement by Mayor Alfonso J. Cervantes. Continental has been in continuous operation in St. Louis since it was founded in 1903. The company has been at the West Park location since 1948, and presently employs approximately 450 people."
