"Fast friends were these two members of Archbishop Ritter's Pontifical Boys Choir and the live donkey which will be used in one of the tableaux scenes of tonights Christmas Choral Pageant. The boys, Terence O'Toole, 8, (left) and John Watson, 8 , struck up the friendship at last night's rehearsal at Kiel Auditorium. The amiable donkey, named Suzie, was provided by Charles W. DeWitt, St. Louis insurance executive, who has a stable of donkeys and ponies."
