Description: This photo shows a batter sliding into home plate in the hopes the catcher misses him for a safe call. There was a double-header between the Cardinals and the Philadelphia team. It is unclear if the Phillies or Cardinals were up to bat, but in both games, players attempted to steal bases. Bill Atwood of the Philly team, and Joe Orengo of the Cardinals took their chances at a steal.
