"Veterans prepare to raise Old Glory in front of the Soldiers Memorial./The 250 people at the Veterans Day ceremony in downtown St. Louis Wednesday were urged repeatedly not to forget Vietnam veterans. One of the few such veterans there to hear it was Herb Dill of South St. Louis. Dill, 31, stood out among the 55 veterans who carried flags from the Soldiers Memorial across Chestnut Street for speeches, a 21-gun salute and a wreath-laying ceremony."
