Description: "Veterans of the Spanish-American War and of World War I - and Boy Scouts (at the extreme left) - were conspicuous by their presence in yesterday's Memorial Day parade in downtown St. Louis. This section of the parade is shown marching west on Chestnut street in front of the Soldier Memorial. It was a hot day, and the route seemed long to the marching men."
