Description: "A Newly Constructed Dam at Black Wolf Lake is mulched by Louis Barry (left), field service agent, and Dale Shaw, farm forester, for the Missouri Conservation Commission. The demonstration yesterday was in connection with the "Saga of the Meramec," presented by the Globe-Democrat and the Friends of the Land. The mulching and sowing help the dam hold water."
