"Explaining the Globe-Democrat Newspaper and Classroom program to teachers attending the Missouri State Teachers meeting at Kiel Auditorium is Al Wilson, who is a sixth grade teacher at Lake School in Granity City. Mr. Wilson uses the daily newspaper as an aid in teaching subjects ranging from math to science. In the background are reproductions of historical Globe-Democrat front pages. The Newspaper in the Classroom booth is in the exhibit area at Kiel."
