Description: "St. Joseph's beautiful chapel, the newest building in the group. Far in the background at the right is seen the tower of the oldest building. These rise above a retaining wall 35 feet high, necessitated many years ago by a Herculean "out" made by the Iron Mountain Railroad, in order to obtain earth for a "fill" farther along its line. The Sisters of St. Joseph now own this "flat", which extends to Broadway."
