"Tired of the noise and dust of the near-by small arms ammunition plant, the owner of this newly completed bungalow at 4711 Goodfellow Boulevard has moved out and leased the home for a restaurant serving home-cooked meals "family style" to hungry workmen. The "bungalow restaurant" is the latest in novel types of eating places which have sprung up around the ammunition plant to feed the 15,000 persons employed on the project. Top--a group of workers is shown eating by the living-room fireplace, while in the lower photograph workers and office girls wait in line to be served."
