Record Group 24 contains materials pertaining to the programs and lectures which were held in the old Mercantile Library Hall through the 1880s, and the more recent lectures that have been held at the Library since the Lunch and Lecture series began in 1983.

Beecher Lectures on Manhood, Money, and Compulsory Education
This is an advertisement for two lectures given by the reverend Henry Ward Beecher in February of 1873. The lecture on Tuesday the 25th was on the subject of "Manhood and Money" while the lecture on Wednesday the 26th was on the subject of "Compulsory Education."
Concert for the Benefit of Sick & Wounded Soldiers
This is a program for a 1862 benefit concert held in the Mercantile Library Hall by the Young Ladies Union Aid Society. It was held to benefit sick and wounded soldiers.
