Boys from the Boys Town of Missouri meet baseball sports announcer Joe Garagiola at a Christmas party given for them by the radio station KMOX at the Chase Hotel. The Christmas party was co-sponsored by the St. Louis area food brokers and chain store operators with more than 80 boys present.

The four of them stand next to a 1959 Ford Edsel donated by Jack Staed which American Body rebuilt for an auction benefiting Boys Town.

Building a jeep from scrap as a vocational education program at Boys Town of Missouri. The Monsanto Fund gave Boys Town $13,000 to buy tools so such programs could be expanded.
