The Shelter, which has been in the possession of the Lucas heirs for 115 years and which is now to become a retreat house for the Cenacle Sisters, who will take possession in the near future.
This is the main building of the Cenacle, 7837 Natural Bridge road, Normandy, where for the last six years women from the vicinity of St. Louis and from half a dozen Midwestern and Southern states have made three-day retreats.

Two religious stand in meditation and prayer before the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin, which occupies a prominent place on the convent grounds. The shrine was given to the Cenacle in memory of the Gen. Sherman, a famous civil war leader.
