"Rehearsing for tomorrow night are these participants in the Globe-Democrat's outdoor Christmas Choral Festival to be held in the Memorial Plaza. Benno Seymour, center front, band director for the Festival, leads soprano soloist Maureen Walsh and the Ludwig College of Music's male chorus through one of the numbers. "The Missouri Baptist Hospital Nurses' Choir set the stage for the opening of the Choral Pageant signing Christmas carols. The choir was directed by John Walters. The Nurses' Choir provided the background for the Scottish Rife Choir in the opening choral number, "Behold! The Days Come!".
