The first blind student to attend Concordia Seminary, David Andrus, will receive his M.A. at the 146th commencement on May 24th. He completed 4 years training to be a pastor in a Lutheran Church. Andrus has been an honor student during his study program at Concordia, with one year spent in Mt. Prospect, Ill., as a vicar of a congregation. Besides those achievements, he is the inventor of a speech device for home computers to aid the blind. He also repairs cars and builds furniture.
