The Inn was built as a summer resort in 1895, and was a major vacation destination known for its Sulphur springs, river access, and pleasant atmosphere. The Frisco railroad ran there multiple times a day. The photograph shows the entrance of the Inn that has flower beds and brick decoration on the outside and an American flag planted on the highest roof peak.
