The industrially zoned property is south of Manchester Road and just west of the proposed Inner Belt Expressway. The development will be known as Brentwood Industrial Park.

First municipal canine team in the county trained by the St. Louis Police Department is on duty in Brentwood. Patrolman Charles W. Mayer and Smokey, a 14-month old German Shepherd, went into service last week.

The cost is $1,300,000. The building is experimental.
