The Yocona is a sternwheel, steel hull towboat built by the Dubuque Boat and Boiler Works in 1919 at Dubuque, Iowa. Her hull measures 153.5 by 34 by 5.8 feet. She has 3 boilers which burn oil. The engines are 15's - 30's with 7-foot stroke; 450 horse power. The Yocona was oariginally built for the U.S. Coast Guard. However, she was converted into a towboat by her present owners, the Patton
