These six members of the St. Louis Hawks pro basketball team contributed their old clothes to the Catholic Bishops' Clothing Collection and Rev. John P. St. Louis Cardinal Manager Fred Hutchinson (left) went to the dressing room after the game yesterday to congratulate Casey Stengel after the American League All-Stars beat the National League, 6-5.
Crowds began forming early at Busch Stadium for yesterday's All-Star game. Block-long lines gathered early as many ticketholders hoped to watch batting practice before the game started. The game had been a sellout for weeks, but a few hundred standing room tickets were sold before the game.

Nearing Completion is the chancery buiding to house administrative headquarters of the St. Louis Catholic Archdiocese. It is at 4431 Lindell bl., adjoining the St. Louis Cathedral on the west.
