Washington County has erected a single gravestone in memory of those buried in the old Poor Farm cemetery near Posen Road. First burial in the cemetery, about 2.5 miles southeast of Nashville, was in 1878. The last was on Christmas Day 1940 after which the cemetery was left to weeds and neglect. The Poor Farm was torn down several years ago. Of the 61 names, listed on the stone in order of burial
