The vehicle should make it possible to conduct complete crime-scene investigations of crimes.
Bids opened April 4th for an addition to Bellefontaine Neighbors City Hall, 9641 Bellefontaine Rd. City hall offices were expanded to include a police squad room, conference room and separate facilities for police sergeants, along with offices for the public works, engineering and parks departments, space for the municipal judge, city attorney and prosecuting attorney. Storage facilities for the street department will be located on the ground floor of the expanded two-story building.

A Telescoping Crash barrier at the Market street exit of westbound U.S. 40 apparently worked its life-saving magic in a recent crash there, Missouri State Highway Department officials said Wednesday. The barrier, called a "crash attenuator," was found in a crumpled condition after a vehicle apparently crashed into it, a spokesman said.
They Work By Night: Holes are patched i n the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 east of Grand avenue, part of the nightly repair work which is scheduled to continue for the next two weeks. Most of the work is being done where the highway bridges other roads.
