Long rated as one of the state's crack National Guard units, Light Battery A had its banner hanging from a tree to mark its camp ground and to guide visitors about the company's section in CampStephens.
The light tanks of the Sixth Tank Company at Jefferson Barracks, under command of Capt. J. H. Gilbreth, departed last night for Arcadia, MO., where combat problems will be worked out by 41 officers of the 420th Infantry, Reserves, as the final part of their tank training at Jefferson Barracks this season.
"The Dragoons at Jefferson Barracks" will be the theme of the third in a series of eight 90-minute programs held in South County parks, sponsered by the St. Louis Couty Department of Parks and Recreation.
