From the left, are: Johnny Mize and Walker Cooper, former Cardinals now with the New York Giants; Ralph Kiner, slugging outfielder of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Stan Musial of the Cardinals. Mize and Kiner led both leagues in home run production last season with 51 circuit wallops and Musial currently leads both leagues in hitting with a .403 average.
